Last month, Em shared his admiration toward Pink and reasoned his decision to collaborate with her.

Eminem has described singer Pink as “a rebel” when speaking about a new collaboration, to be included on the rapper’s forthcoming seventh album Recovery. Speaking to Radio 1′s Fearne Cotton, Eminem said: “I’ve always respected what she does. “When we did the track I heard her on it and knew vocally she’d smash it.”

Pink shared her admiration of Eminem and revealed her initial fear of him selecting her as a target during the rapper’s past run at dissing pop culture artists.

Pink also revealed how she became involved on Eminem’s Recovery track, “Won’t Back Down.”

“I think he’s one of the most poetic, ballsy, and hilarious people this industry has ever seen,” Pink told SPIN magazine. Unlike her pop peers Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Jessica Simpson, Pink was spared Em’s wrath in his songs. “I was always afraid he’d pick me as a target, but he’s always been nice to me and finally approached me to be on the album, so I must have done something right,” said the flattered singer.
