Young Buck taking 50 Cent to Judge Judy

Wednesday, September 1st, 2010

Young Buck is planning to sue 50 Cent to get released from his contract with G-Unit Records.

His lawyer Lynda Jones sent a statement to Nashville’s The City Page saying that Buck, whose real name is David Darnell Brown, intends to pay off his bankruptcy and sue 50 Cent .

“Mr. Brown intends to reorganize his debts and pay off the IRS in a timely manner through Chapter 13. We hope to secure the return of his personal property quickly. He will also be filing a lawsuit in the next 30-60 days against his former manager, G Unit label and Mr. Curtis Jackson.

“There are a few procedural hurdles we need to address in handling these matters, but they will ironed out shortly. I will be associating attorneys Amy Everhart and Jennifer Lawson for the litigation. Both have excellent experience.”

Young Buck has been trying to get off the label and release a new album since 2007.

In a filing with Nashville’s U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Young Buck cited as a $5 million contingent his claim against Bruce Seckendorf, G Unit Inc., Curtis Jackson III and Michael Clervoix.

Young Buck says Dr Dre and Eminem dont Speak to Him

Sunday, August 15th, 2010

Young Buck has discussed his relationship with Dr. Dre and revealed past failed attempts to get a hold of the Doc.

Despite being associated with Dre during his days as a G-Unit member, Buck said he has not gotten in touch with him for over three years.

“Dr. Dre is an individual who I wish I heard from at some point in time because his voice in my situation would means a lot. He don’t have to on my side or [50 Cent's] side, but just say something, bro. I even told Game to say ‘what’s up’ to Dre for me, but I haven’t heard anything..I haven’t received an email or spoken to Dre in three years…I haven’t heard from Dr. Dre or Eminem… not to say my situation is any part of their business but at a point in time I was sitting in front of these dudes. And I’m not looking for them to take sides or anything, but it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out what is being done to me from their artist.”

I will say that much…If you ain’t focused on Buck, now is the time to get focused on Buck,” he continued. “With this whole contract situation, we really gonna see what this was really about. The Feds Raid Young Bucks House

Tuesday, August 3rd, 2010

The federal government raided Nashville rapper Young Buck’s residence Tuesday morning (Aug. 3) over a $300,000 past tax bill, the rapper has released.

The agents forcibly came to the rapper’s home with shotguns and seized recording recording equipment, jewelry, furniture, and his platinum plaques, a statement said.

That rapper has had serious issues with back taxes since leaving G-Unit and his lawyers even filed a motion to protect his assets. That didn’t prevent the raid.

Buck said he was saddened by the raid and it has actually taken away much of his ability to generate revenue.

“The worst part of this isn’t the material stuff–that will all be replaced. It’s what it does to the people around me. They took my kids’ Playstation, my assistants’ computers, and baby’s mothers’ jewelry. They took my home studio so I can’t even record,” he said.

The federal officials didn’t take Buck’s house or his vehicle.

Young Buck says he has already started paying closer attention to his finances and hopes for a dramatic change.

“I have a new team in place, but I am also paying full attention now. Nothing like this will ever happen again. This is a huge wake up call for all entertainers to stay on top of your own trusted employees and team members, and replace anyone that was put in place by your record label if the situation you have goes sour,” he explained. :This IRS situation came about because I trusted accountants, lawyers, and managers to handle my business for me while I focused on making music. From now on, I am going to stay on top of my own business.”

For his fans Buck simple said, “Things you go through in life make you who you are and I’m alright!”

Speaking to fans at a concert over the weekend, Buck aired out his issues with 50.

“I just want to get this out real quick and make sure to let all my people out there know one thing, as far as the G-Unit reunion sh*t on me, I ain’t with that sh*t,” Buck told a crowd of concert fans. “We got too much unfinished business to happen, 50. I’m not with none of that sh*t — I just want to make sure we get that clear. I’m not with it my n*gga, you took a real n*gga through too much my n*gga. If you want war, we gonna go to war and we gonna do this sh*t in a real street way until one of us dies my n*gga. I’ll play that game with you. It’s only right, somebody’s gotta do this in a real way…Even if I lose my life in being a real n*gga, one thing y’all motherf*ckers know is that I was a real n*gga…When a n*gga playing with a n*gga’s life then you treat a n*gga with no emotions. You take a n*gga’s life. So either meet me in h*ll or heaven, f*ck you, f*ck G-Unit.”

Lil Scrappy speaks on Young Buck and 50′s Beef

Saturday, November 28th, 2009

G-Unit associate Lil Scrappy recently spoke on his relationship with Young Buck and 50 Cent claiming the Cashville rapper would likely not be able to mend past issues with his former camp.

Having been involved with the Unit during the promotion of Bred 2 Die Born 2 Live, Scrappy detailed where he stood during the two’s publicized rap beef.

“Buck is my homie; he’s like a big brother you never had,” Scrappy explained in an interview. “50 is also a big brother you never had. I was around both of them when they would talk about each other love-wise, and that sh*t just flipped, which is what money does. 50 is a real dude. He didn’t have to do any of that sh*t for none of us. Young Buck and Lloyd Banks were the first ones. I didn’t really get the love that they got. 50 thought they were his babies and if you talked to him, he would tell you that. Buck just saw me in the same situation that he was in, when he got shot up and ain’t nobody f*ckin’ with him. I just talked to him like three weeks ago, and he said keep doing what you’re doing, and I was like I appreciate everything he did for me. And I’m out here grustlin’ and if we can make a hit record again, we can do it. Buck and 50 beefing is like two brothers beefing, and they ain’t never going to talk to each other again, but it ain’t that beat though. They will probably get over it one day, but I doubt it just because its disloyalty. You’ve got to be loyal. Look at Lil Wayne with Cash Money: he was loyal and look where he’s at right now.”(Hip Hop Starship)

Despite their estranged relationship, 50 recently said Buck is still on the G-Unit Records roster.

“Buck is still signed to G-Unit Records, hopefully he can come up with a record. If he can come up with a song, we can get my money back, you know what I’m saying? I hope he can come up with something right quick. I’m looking forward to that check at least. They gotta pay me not to put the G-Unit logo on it.”
