Lil Waynes writes letter #5 to his fans

Monday, August 16th, 2010

What’s poppin?!

Me, I’m good, figured I’d update my glorious fans again. Better sooner than later right? I’ll try to do this more frequently.

Well ain’t nothing going on in here but the time, which seems like it’s taking forever. I’m trying to make the most out of every second tho, mentally. There’s some pretty cool people in here. Even though this isn’t a cool place to be. I’ve learned plenty already and the best lesson is to not come back. Last night, I kicked ass in UNO! Anyway, that’s neither here nor there. Just thought I’d let y’all know. Gotta stay hydrated. Though it’s hot, I still work out. Now don’t be expecting me to look like Hercules when I get out, but I should be a little bulky. I guess. Anyways, please remember to always check for your name in the “thank yous”. I’m always reading letters and responding. Off the subject but her Chris, I think you should team up with Kobe! Go Lakers! Hey Lindsey, glad it’s over doll. I should have written her huh? Young Money, you’re the best I ever had. Look out for Nino 3, and I Am Not A Human Being. Coming soon. Mother, I love you. Nae, you’re my angel. Lil Tunechi Jr., you’re the man. Lil Kam, you’re the best heartbreaker. Lil Neal, you’re the littler meatball.

I love you all!

Lil Wayne Writes another Letter to his fans from Jail

Wednesday, July 14th, 2010

Hello world… I’m good. Counting the days and still smiling. Most of those smiles come from hearing my kids’ voices over the phone. The others come from reading fan mail. Let me just say that I have the best fans in the world! The devotion, dedication, support, love, and most of all, prayers are simply the best. I never imagined that I could have such an impact on people’s lives. Because of this, I vow to be a bit more careful of what I say.

So I’ve been writing and let me be the first to tell you that the lyrics that I’m writing are… well there’s no word that I can think of that properly defines them. Amazing would be too typical and perfect would be unfair. I listen to the radio sometimes, emphasis on sometimes, and I hear the new music. I like some. I applaud my Young Money family for what they’re doing. As I’m not surprised. This is what we’re supposed to do. Congrats to Drake and Nicki for all their recent success. Those 2 are going to have me retiring early. I love my team. Much love to Tez and Mack. I know that people are inquisitive of what I do all day, so here goes. I wake up around 11AM. Have some coffee. Call my kids, and my wonderful mother. I then shower up. Read fan mail. Have lunch. Back on the phone. Read a book or write some thoughts down. Have dinner. Phone. Pushups. Then I listen to ESPN on the radio. Read the bible, then sleep. That’s my day.

I’ll end this letter, but never my love. I’m gone. Oh, and how ‘bout dem Lakers!?!

P.S. I thank my fans for appreciating me the way you do.

Tunechi.

Drake says Hip Hop will miss Lil Wayne when he is in jail

Friday, February 5th, 2010

Drake has said rappers will have to “work a lot harder to keep hip-hop exciting” while Lil’ Wayne is in prison.

Wayne, real name Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr, is expected to be sentenced to eight months behind bars for gun possession later this month.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Drake, one of the rapper’s mentors, paid tribute to the star, describing his talent as unique.

“I think you’ll miss everything about Wayne. I don’t think there will be anybody like Lil Wayne ever again in hip-hop,” he said.

“He paralyzes a room when he walks into it, his wordplay, the excitement that he brings to his music.”

The rapper added: “I think that for eight months a lot of us will have to work a lot harder to keep hip-hop as exciting as it’s been for the last two years.” I think Hip Hop has sucked for the last 2 years. Lil Wayne has released track after track of pure trash. He is worshipped by little kids and hated by Real DJs and Hip Hop Heads. Lil Wayne will enjoy his time in jail being somebodies bitch. He already kiss’s men and he will not receive protective custody in jail. It is over for him when he gets inside. Hip Hop might be able to breathe without Lil Waynes garbage being released.

Meanwhile, Lil’ Wayne revealed earlier this week that he was “looking forward” to beginning his prison sentence.

The rapper pleaded guilty to attempted gun possession last October.

He was arrested in July 2007 when police allegedly found him trying to conceal a .40 caliber semi-automatic loaded handgun on his tour bus.

Lil Wayne’s Rebirth CD pushed back to June 22

Tuesday, January 5th, 2010

Rebirth — the follow-up to 2008’s The Carter III — was due to officially hit stores and the Internet on 1 February, but a few hundred copies were sent to Amazon.com customers, who had pre-ordered the album, last month. Which in turn leaked to the internet.

Thats not his Daddy

The release of Lil Wayne’s long-delayed rock album has been pushed back an additional six months — just weeks after it was accidentally shipped out to 500 fans. Rebirth will now drop June 22 but will probaly leak 2 to 3 weeks before that. Lil Wayne is set to begin serving a one year prison sentence on weapons charges next month. Good Riddance is what I say , I can’t stand much more from the man kissing jibberish spitta.

Lil Wayne smoking up all of South Beach Miami

Tuesday, December 15th, 2009

Lil Wayne is currently renting a place in Miami that is on for sale. Lil Wayne is smoking so much that the real-estate broker must give a few disclaimers before showing the property to potential buyers:

Lil Wayne is not making things easy for Miami real-estate brokers trying to sell an apartment where he’s currently living. The Grammy Award-winning rapper rents a three-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment in South Beach that’s owned by someone else and is up for sale for $520,000. A prospective buyer who recently toured the pad…… tells Page Six that the broker trying to sell it has some very specific requests.

“My fiancée and I called to make an appointment to see it, and the real estate broker says, ‘I have two questions: Are you offended by the smell of marijuana? And do you mind coming late in the afternoon? It’s currently rented by Lil Wayne, and these are not morning people.

B.G. Speaks on Lil Wayne going to Jail in NY

Tuesday, November 24th, 2009

Despite being confident in Wayne, B.G. said he wished the jail bid would take place in their hometown, New Orleans.

“Eight months?,” he questioned in an interview. “Sh*t, man, I done ten months standing on top of my head. So, it shouldn’t be hard for him.

lil-wayne jail http://hiphopstarship.com

I wish he was in New Orleans, where it’da be better for him. New York got a lot of love for him. But you know how n*ggas try to test n*ggas who on top of the game or whatever. Me personally, they a have to put me in [general] population. ‘Cause I’ll fight. They couldn’t put me in no 23/1. I couldn’t live like that. So, I mean, what he rap about, the true him ’bout to come out, whether he be in protective custody or whether he be in population. Every jail is different. I never been to Rikers Island. I been to jail in Atlanta. I been to jail in Texas. I been to jail in Detroit. I been to jail in New Orleans. I never been to jail in New York so — I done seen DVD’s on how they be slashing people and doing this, doing that. But, you know, I’m a man. And I could live anywhere. You could put me in the woods with the lions, tigers and bears and I’ma find a way to survive.”
