Joe Budden speaks on Drake and Nicki Minaj’s fake wedding

Saturday, August 28th, 2010

Slaughterhouse’s Joe Budden has shared his public reaction to the news of Nicki Minaj and Drake reportedly tying the knot in marriage.

Writing via Twitter, Budden did not take the “announcement” seriously.

“@drakkardnoir @nickiminaj both of y’all are full of sh*t …… congrats tho.”

“its really sad how stupid rappers think fans are ………….” (Joe Budden’s Twitter)

They’re not married. Its just two friends having fun, pulling the twitter fire alarm on a Summer Friday. I actually think Nicki and Drake would make a cute couple but Nicki has been rumored to be lesbian as videos have leaked have showed. Meanwhile Drake has been rumored to be hanging out with actress Taraji Henson.

Hip Hop is getting more wack by the minute. How the hell has Hip Hop been reduced to Nicki Minaj and Canadien actor Drake being relevant in rap ? It a sad day for Hip Hop these days.

Canadien actor/rapper Drake wants to play Obama in a Movie

Tuesday, July 20th, 2010

Degrassi actor Drake recently discussed his admiration toward United States President Barack Obama and said he could portray Obama in a movie.

“I hope somebody makes a movie about Obama’s life soon because I could play him. That’s the goal. I watch all the addresses. Anytime I see him on TV, I don’t change the channel, I definitely pay attention and listen to the inflections of his voice. If you ask anyone who knows me, I’m pretty good at impressions.

Slowly but surely, I’m not in the study mode because nobody’s called me about anything, but I just pay attention so when the day comes I’m not scrambling to learn how to speak like him. I want to be involved in great film projects. I don’t want to do the basketball movie that everyone does. I don’t want to do the typical black film that everyone expects. I think that I have enough experience to actually be involved in a real meaty project full of substance.”

Drake is not American and being a bit actor on one little teenager cable show doesnt qualify him to play the president. I believe if a movie is made about Obama we can get a real actor to play the president, Maybe Denzel Washington.

Saturday, July 17th, 2010

For the video, Drizzy re-linked with his “Find Your Love” director, Anthony Mandler.

“It’s just made to make women feel special,” Drizzy told MTV News on the set of the video. “It’s a great performance video.” Drake teamed up with director Anthony Mandler, whom Drizzy dubs a “phenomenal cat” and who has, so far, helmed all the clips for Thank Me Later. Mandler, T.I. and Swizz Beatz all put in work on the “Fancy” video, but Drizzy was also geeked out about an artist who was grinding behind the scenes. Drake entrusted the clip’s footwork to renowned choreographer Fatima Robinson and gushed that working with the dance diva was “an honor in itself.”

With plans to hook up one more time before Drake finishes up the album, Kanye West has already teamed with Drake for his “Best I Ever Had” music video. Not many fans liked the video and rumors even started that Kanye sabotaged Drake by directing the video but Drizzy says the video is exactly what he wanted and wishes he could have just had a bigger budget. “I don’t really care about catching flack. Everybody is not gonna love everything we do… that’ll never stop me and Kanye from working together. Me and Kanye, when we do come together, it’s great. We have great chemistry. That definitely won’t halt us from giving people what they deserve. In a couple of weeks I’m going to Hawaii so I can work with him and No ID some more.”
