Devar Hurd was convicted of stalking and aggravated harassment in a New York City courtroom on Tuesday. The aspiring rapper and model was arrested after sending a series of filthy messages and pictures of his genitals to Tina Douglas, Ashanti’s mom and manager.

The accused was stalking singer Ashanti has been found guilty of harassing the R&B star’s mother after bombarding her with a string of lewd text messages. Hurd faces up to up to two years in prison when he is sentenced Jan. 11.
